Ruffa Gutierrez walks out of her last episode on The Buzz

Ruffa Gutierrez was all teary-eyed when she walked off the set of The Buzz’s episode last Sunday. Ruffa, who is transferring to TV5, was bidding the show good-bye that day and was a bit sensitive towards her co-host Kris Aquino’s comments regarding this.

Ruffa’s mom, Annabelle Rama, gave her piece of mind on the said matter on another network’s showbiz oriented talk show and said that Kris Aquino was very wrong saying those things to her daughter, who was already sad about saying farewell to her colleagues on The Buzz. Annabelle even involved Kris’s brother, presidential candidate NoyNoy Aquino, in the issue, saying that the actress-host would become all “high and mighty” in the showbiz industry should Sen. Aquino win as president. She even said that one of the major reasons she pulled out Ruffa from The Buzz is because of Kris’s hostility towards her daughter every Sunday. “Every Sunday na lang binabara niya si Ruffa. Ano naiinggit ba siya kay Ruffa?” Annabelle commented.


Ruffa on the other hand, revealed her feelings on the issue on her Twitter account a few hours after. “Sana man lang I was given the chance to say good-bye properly to my colleagues on The Buzz who I've grown to love like family over the last three years. Kung may ayaw sa akin saThe Buzz, may mga may gusto din po sa akin. Sana nabigyan po ako ng chance para magpaalam sa mga nagmamahal din po sa akin. Kahit dalawang piraso pa sila, karapatan ko rin namang magpaalam ng maayos. I'm just trying to do my job. This is not the first time. I'm also very diplomatic and can laugh about anything. Off-cam,the situation was far from pleasant. Yes, registered voters like me will certainly vote wisely. No need to make sira...I AM TEAM NOYNOY! But between now and the May elections many things can still happen. It’s what name I will write that will clearly matter in the end. I would like to enjoy my time w/loved ones now. Salamat po.”
